, the cold front that is about to hit us up here means hot dry winds in state of california. that fact is no stranger to people here on the panel. it doesn't take much to fan hot, dry vegetation that has been soaking in that hot sun. when i say soaking, it means it gets the moisture level so low where it's kindling in the forest. you have more people moving in, more vegetation growing, it's a recipe for nature trying to do its thing and people in the way. so with this, it takes a lot of support whether we're talking about the fire lines, behind the fire lines or been above the fire lines to provide that support. it takes a whole mix of people whether it's the department of defense and even fema having roles to play in that. bob fenton, the assistant chief of fema, used to be the division chief in division 9. he is no stranger to this area, born and raised here, this is his home and so he does have a care and an interest in this community and beyond. and so with that it is hard to fill being his replacement at the regional level because not only to fill his shoes all the great work

activities at the california public utilities commission. we did go forward with the filing of our revised implementation agreement, implementation plan at the california public utilities commission. it is under review there and we expect it to be certified by their executive director before the -- by january. we have seen a proposed decision from the california public utilities commission that implements the provisions of the cca code of conduct that were adopted in legislation, sponsored by senator leno, so we expect that proposed decision to become final in the next 30 to 60 day time period so we will have clarity on those rules of engagement are before we launch our program, and we are closely monitoring the green tariff pricing proposal that pg&e sprited to the california puc for approval. that is the program when it was initially proposed by pg&e would have pg&e offering to san franciscans an opportunity for 100% renewable product that is greening up their portfolio to using renewable energy credits, so they have placed a proposal before the california puc for -- their agreement.

southern california and the east coast that float into theater understand disaster assistance and humantarian response very well. that hasn't quite migrated itself into the institutional arena in terms of forces stationed here in the united states as it would relate to defense support to civil authorities. i think that's primarily -- this is not a primary mission for us. it's something that we do pay attention to, of course, as we deploy overseas. not necessarily forces we have here in the states. we do understand immediate response, rolling out the gate to help our neighbors in an immediate nature, but i think not so much in terms of mobilization and deploying inside our country. so, this is an area where opportunities like san francisco fleet week will allow us for, and i believe at some point really incorporate this in some internal doctrine that will benefit us in the event that this is a requirement inside the u.s. >> thank you. this morning secretary schultz asked one of the panels that was involved in communications and command and control about in this age of informati

for rehab and bringing their son to southern california regularly to visit nadia it's a much different story for steve chick. there's a warrant for his arrest after he missed court appearance. police say he tried to steal a sweatshirt from macy while high on meth in august. i texted chick before the hearing today asking if he would attend. he answered not feeling like going to jail and they would take me if i showed. i can't get past this. the connection we had was so strong. less night i slept open the streets again. i lost everything because of her and the life she forced me into. this hole i am in is so deep i can't get out of. in the past i found the strength independent know pull myself together and get my life back quickly. i can't find that strength in me. just not ther there. what is there in steady is a welcoming that my end will be soon. i can't live like this. i tried to call chick several times to see if he's okay but got the voice mail. i'm posting screen shots of those detectives on our web site. nadia is still facing drug and child endangerment charges in souther
